George Surgeon Chair

When precision is all that matters

The George surgeon chair is designed with high precision and ergonomics in mind. This is incorporated in the armrests in a way that they are 3-D adjustable. The height, length and width can be adjusted as well as the angle thanks to a special ball bearing construction.

Operating the George is possible in various ways. Firstly, you can operate both the high/low function as the electric brake function by the switches positioned under the arm rest (on either the left or right arm-rest). Secondly you can operate both functions with your feet, thanks to the pedals mounted on the base frame.

The George is equipped with four electrically braked castors. This results in no unwanted movements of the chair whilst the surgeon is on duty. Besides that, the castors are water– and dustproof and are equipped with double high precision ball bearings to ensure frictionless movement and high durability. Lastly, these castors also have an emergency hand release system in case there is a malfunction.
